What is a hybrid down jacket?
It combines down insulation with stretch panels. The Helium Down Hybrid has down quilted across the body for warmth, and stretch jersey panels at the sides and sleeves, so you can move freely when you’re skiing, hiking or reaching for the overhead locker.

Is the Helium Down Hybrid warm enough for skiing?
It’s best as a warm mid layer under a waterproof ski shell, or on its own on cold, dry days. The shell is windproof and repels light rain and snow, but it isn’t waterproof.

What’s the difference between the Helium Down Hybrid and the Helium Utility?
The Hybrid has stretch side and sleeve panels and weighs just 0.3 kg, so it’s lighter and better for active days. The Helium Utility is fully down filled, with chest and sleeve utility pockets, so it’s the warmer choice for cold days and everyday wear.

Does it pack down?
Yes. It’s a packable jacket at around 0.3 kg, so it’s easy to carry in a ski backpack or hand luggage.

What shade of blue is it?
Peak Performance calls it Blue Shadow, a soft, muted mid blue that looks sporty and understated. 

How do I wash it?
Wash it at 40°C with similar colours and the zips closed. Tumble dry it inside out with two or three tennis balls, shaking it now and then to restore the loft.
