The Missy is knitted from 80% polyamide, 15% Lurex and 5% elastane. Lurex is a genuine metallic yarn — synthetic film with a vaporised metal layer — which gives the fabric its all-over gold shimmer rather than a printed or coated finish.

How do I wash a metallic Lurex base layer?
Wash cool on a gentle cycle, inside out, with similar colours, and never tumble dry — heat damages both the elastane and the metallic thread.
