Peak Performance Light Zip Jacket with Hood in Purple

The Peak Performance Light Zip Hood in Montana Grape is the mid-layer that's lightweight enough to layer under a shell, warm enough to wear alone on milder days or walking or on the way to the gym.

A flat front fleece brings a durable exterior with a soft, brushed interior that traps warmth without adding bulk. It moves easily whether you're skiing, hiking, or simply getting on with an ordinary day.

A fixed hood with elastic binding, zippered hand pockets, and elastic at the hem and cuffs keep everything sealed against the cold, while a full front YKK coil zipper with reflective pullers adds a practical, considered finish. Made without intentionally added PFAS, it reflects Peak Performance's genuine shift away from harmful chemistry across the range.

Montana Grape purple brings real depth of colour to what is a simple, sporty, elegant, practical technical piece. It's made for women who want a reliable mid-layer.

FAQs

What colour is Montana Grape?
It’s Peak Performance’s deep, rich purple. It’s a confident colour that still feels grown up, and it looks great against snow.

Is the Light Zip Hood a ski mid layer?
Yes. It’s a midweight stretch fleece with a brushed inside, so it sits between your base layer and ski jacket and keeps you warm without bulk. On milder days, wear it on its own.

What goes with a purple fleece?
Purple looks smart with black, navy, grey and cream. Try to show off the hood and cuffs for a pop of purple.

Can I wear it for the gym, hiking or travel?
Yes. It’s designed for year round use, so it’s an easy layer for walks, hikes, the school run, the gym and cold flights.

How does it fit?
It’s a regular fit with stretch, so it’s comfortable on its own and layers under a ski jacket. Check the Peak Performance size guide for measurements.

How do I wash it?
Wash it inside out at 40°C with the zips closed and with similar colours. Skip the fabric softener, and tumble dry on low or line dry in the shade.
