Every piece of clothing by Peak Performance comes representing the brand's core values of longevity, timelessness, design and innovation. Its evolution occurred in the decision by three friends to create a ski wear brand for themselves which would harness design, functionality and the love of sport and nature.
Stefan Engström was a world-class mogul skier with several World Cup wins to his credit. Peter Blom was then editor-in-chief of the country’s biggest ski magazine. Christer Mårtensson was an art director and designer. Soon they were joined by former alpine skier and ski salesman Jonas Ottosson.
There's no better ski wear brand for focusing on environmental issues. Sustainability in fabric and garment processing methods is key. Styles are designed with both utility and beauty in mind. Peak Performance works with the Better Cotton Initiative and relies on the Higg Index, an indicator-based tool for apparel that enables companies to evaluate material types, products, facilities and processes based on a range of environmental and product design choices.
